The English Department is involved in the teaching English as a Foundation Course from Semester I to Semester IV.

The department is equipped with all the equipment needed to run an IT enabled class. The dept looks after Digital English and Learning Lab with 24 computers pre installed with language learning software (Provided by the Government of Gujarat).

The department also conducts Add on Courses on Conversational English for the college students. Moreover, the faculty is also involved in conducting training for administrative staff.

The department facilitates the students to appear for SCOPE Exam conducted by the University of Cambridge and also provides training to students if needed.The department also plays a key role in various college activities.
