Chemistry Department of V. P. & R. P. T. P. Science College is one of the largest department in the institution, consisting of 14 faculty members of which 13 hold doctoral degree.

The department has four laboratories for undergraduate students and one research laboratory for Ph. D. students.

The department is working in strengthening of subject knowledge by organizing various events like national seminar, workshop and industrial tour.

Four of the faculty members are actively engaged in reseach work and they are publishing reseach paper regulary in reputed national and international journal. Area of research work is Orgnic Synthesis, Polymer Science and Medicinal Chemistry. One of the faculty member is serving as guest lecture for other educational institutes.

Dr. M. M. Moreker is Major in NCC and looking after the NCC activity of college.

Dr. V.B.Kataria is actively engaged for Innovation, Training and Placement cell of college.
